VISTA Dial-A-Ride
VISTA provides curb-to-curb Dial-A-Ride service for the general public in Santa Paula, Fillmore and Piru seven days per week.
Hours of Operation
VISTA Dial-A-Ride serves the communities of Fillmore, Piru, and Santa Paula seven days a week on the following schedule:

Fillmore:
Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.,
Saturday – Sunday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Piru:
Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
Saturday – Sunday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Santa Paula:
Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.,
Saturday – Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
VISTA Dial-A-Ride does NOT operate on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Reservations
VISTA Dial-A-Ride provides service to the general public in the Santa Paula and Fillmore-Piru areas. VISTA Dial-A-Ride also provides curb-to-curb service for certified ADA passengers between the cities of Fillmore and Santa Paula. ADA service from either Fillmore or Santa Paula to Ventura (via transfer to Gold Coast Transit ACCESS at Wells Road in Saticoy) is available with 24 hours prior reservation.
Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day reservations, except to Ventura, will be honored on an as-received basis. There is no guarantee of trip availability. To schedule a trip call:

Reservations may be made Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Reservations for the Fillmore-Piru Dial-A-Ride can also be made on Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reservations for Santa Paula Dial-A-Ride can be made on Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ride cancellations should be at least two hours before the scheduled pick-up time.

***Day passes are valid Monday through Friday on the day of purchase only. Dial-A-Ride/Day Passes are valid on the Fillmore-Piru Dial-A-Ride, Santa Paula Dial-A-Ride, and VISTA Highway 126 fixed-route service between Fillmore and Santa Paula.
Go Ventura Bus Pass – Monthly Passes are also available for VISTA Dial-A-Ride service
Transfers
Free transfers between the Dial-A-Ride and VISTA Highway 126 fixed-route service are available for travel to Ventura and beyond. Return transfers from the VISTA Highway 126 service to Dial-A-Ride are 50 cents.
ADA-certified passengers may transfer to Gold Coast Transit ACCESS at Saticoy (Wells Road) for travel to Ventura and beyond. Reservations for rides with transfers to GCT ACCESS must be made one day in advance of desired travel date. For more information on GCT ACCESS service, click here.
Requesting a Ride
Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day reservations will be honored on an as-received basis, but there is no guarantee of trip availability. To schedule a trip call:

Reservations may be made Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Reservations for the Fillmore-Piru Dial-A-Ride can also be made on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reservations for Santa Paula Dial-A-Ride can be made on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
When calling, be prepared to provide the following information:
- Rider’s first and last names (optional).
- Whether the rider will be accompanied by an attendant, child, companion, or service animal.
- Rider’s exact address.
- Pick-up address (if different from rider’s address).
- Pick-up time and appointment time (if applicable).
- If the rider is traveling using a wheelchair or other mobility device.
Be ready when the vehicle arrives. The driver will only wait one minute after the scheduled pick-up time.
To streamline the process, when making your initial reservation, please advise the dispatcher if you will require a return trip as well. Be ready with the return trip pick-up time.
Canceling a Trip
The earlier a rider notifies VISTA Dial-A-Ride of the ride cancellation, the more efficiently schedulers can plan out the vehicle routes. Cancellations should be made at least two hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
No-Show Policy
No-shows are riders who fail to keep scheduled reservations. When a Dial-A-Ride rider is not outside at the designated pick-up location at the scheduled time, this is considered a no-show. The driver will wait one minute before departing the agreed upon pickup location.
Riders who miss their scheduled pick-up times may call for another reservation. However, rescheduled trips will be addressed on a space-available basis.
Subscription riders who are no-shows for three consecutive scheduled trips are deleted from the subscription list and will need to schedule future trips individually.
