The Ventura County Transportation Commission conducts a variety of regularly scheduled meetings on transportation related topics. Below you’ll find a brief description and the schedule for each of them
Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC)
The seventeen member board of the VCTC meets monthly on the first Friday of each month except August. The meetings are open to the public and comments on transportation topics are welcomed. Meetings are held at:

CTAC/SSTAC serves as an advisory panel to VCTC. The Committee includes two non-elected members from each city and Ventura County, two at-large members, and one representative each from Camarillo Health Care District, Commission on Human Concerns, Developmental Disability, St. John’s Medical Center, Public Social Services Agency, and VCTC (as the Consolidated Transportation Services Agency/CTSA). The Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month, October through June Ventura County Government Center, Hall of Justice, Pacific Meeting Room, 1:30 – 3:30 PM
Transit Operators Advisory Committee (Transcom)
Transcom advises VCTC on all transit-related matters including commuter rail. Transcom includes one representative from each transit operator in Ventura County and one ex officio member of the Technical Transportation Advisory Committee (TTAC). Meets on an as-needed basis at locations through out the County, check the agenda for specific times and locations.
Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC)
TTAC advises VCTC on all technical transportation matters in the county and cities. The Committee includes one representative and one alternate from the following: Ventura County Public Works Department, each city, Ventura County Air Pollution Control District, Gold Coast Transit, Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), and Caltrans District 7. Meets on an as-needed basis at locations through out the County, check the agenda for specific times and locations.
Santa Paula Branch Line Advisory Committee (SPBLAC)
SPBLAC advises VCTC on matters concerning the Santa Paula Branch Line.
Heritage Valley Advisory Committees (HVPAC/HVTAC)
The Heritage Valley Policy Advisory and Technical Advisory Committees meet on an as needed basis at locations throughout the County, please check the Agendas for specific times and locations.
Special meetings are convened on an as-needed basis to address issues relevant to transportation in Ventura County that are not otherwise covered by a standing committee.
