ABOUT BIKE TO WORK WEEK
Every year in the month of May, Bike to Work Week is celebrated across the nation to raise awareness of the importance of incorporating bicycling as a mode of travel. Whether it be daily to work, school or errands, or as an occasional means of transportation, riding a bicycle benefits a person’s health, wallet and the environment. Bike to Work Week 2019 is May 13-17. New bicyclists and experienced ones are welcome to pledge to ride during Bike to Work Week. All pledges will be entered to win one of nine $100 VISA gift cards.

RULES AND ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to enter the Bike Week contest, you must meet the following guidelines:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be employed or a full-time college student in Ventura County
- Pledge to bike to work/school between May 13-17, 2019
You must submit a pledge by either (a) filling out the pledge form here (b) filling out a pledge card and giving it to a designated contact at your employer by May 24, 2019. VCTC and VCAPCD employees and their families are not eligible for any prize-winning opportunities associated with the Bike to Work Week campaign.
