Project Programming

On October 6, 2017, VCTC will hold a public hearing to consider inclusion of transportation improvement projects in the TIP.  The public hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017, in the Camarillo City Council Chamber, 601 Carmen Drive, in Camarillo. The Commission will consider programming available federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality funds to eligible projects. Click Here to download the recommended project list.

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) is issuing a Call for Projects for Section 5310 Large Urbanized Area funds and Section 5307 Jobs Access/Reverse Commute (JARC) funds.  Agencies are invited to submit applications for projects which enhance mobility for seniors and persons with disabilities by providing funds that support the special needs of seniors beyond traditional public transportation services and for those with disabilities beyond that required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).   Applications will also be accepted for projects that improve access to employment and employment related activities for eligible low-income individuals and to transport residents of urbanized areas and non-urbanized areas to suburban employment opportunities.

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) will hold a public hearing on the Program of Projects (POP) for the Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Simi Valley Urbanized Areas (UAs) for projects to be funded with Federal Transit Administration funds in the 2017/18 Fiscal Year.  The public hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Se[tember 8, 2017, in the Camarillo City Council Chamber, 601 Carmen Drive, in Camarillo.                             

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a summary/listing of local transportation capital projects (including highway improvements and transit projects) funded by state and federal funds. It establishes transportation priorities for Ventura County across a multi-year period.
